I had the honour and pleasure directing the recording and mixing of “Quincy Jones & Friends” which was performed live at Jazzopen, Stuttgart. On stage: SWR Big Band and the Chamber Orchestra Stuttgart, directet by Jules Buckley. The soloists: Jacob Collier, Dee Dee Bridgewater and George Benson. This concert was broadcasted on SWR radio, SWR TV and 3sat TV. Before and after the show I had very pleasent talks with the maestro.
